These covers are designed to prevent ingredients from splattering when the mixer is running at high speed, reducing mess and waste, and keeping the countertop clean. You can also place mixer attachments (whisk, whip, beater and dough hook) in the bowl and then seal the mixer attachment with the mixer lid to prevent dust from entering the stand mixer bowl and mixer attachments, making it convenient for the next use.

When mixing with the flat beater, dough hook and wire whisk attachments, you need to remove the small cover in the middle of the bowl lid and then attach the accessories so that the mixer bowl cover does not obstruct the rotation of the mixing paddles and does not interfere with the mixing process. The mixer bowl cover serves two distinct purposes: (1) use when mixing and blending ingredients to prevent splashes and messes, and (2) use to cover the bowl after mixing is complete, to keep your prepared materials safe before cooking/baking, and prevents dust from getting in your mixer bowls when not in use.

These mixer bowl lid covers are designed for use with KitchenAid 4.5-5 Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixers and Cuisinart SM-50BC Stand Mixers. The bowl covers have 2 pieces: the outer ring to be attached to your mixing bowl when you are actively using your Cuisinart mixer, and the inner circular-shaped cap to cover the bowl after mixing is complete, to keep your prepared materials safe before cooking/baking.

When the mixer is working with attachments such as the flat beater, dough hook and wire whisk, you will need to remove the small cover in the middle of the bowl lid, then place the outer ring of the lid over the mixing head and then screw on the mixer attachment to start working.

The package contains 2 pack mixing bowl covers, which are made of food grade PP materials. The non-sealing mixer bowl covers are top-rack dishwasher safe or can be hand-washed.
